Just start. A year from now you’ll wish you started today. Never put off until tomorrow what you can do today. Just do it. Bigger fools than you…
We’ve all heard these clichéd motivational quotes from well-meaning sources about chasing our dreams. In a world where very little is simply handed to you, these are words we should perhaps entertain. Some people do this incredibly well. They plunge forward into the abyss without hesitation.
Others, like myself, are planners. We like to pause and think things through, every incremental step of the way, before taking that big leap. But so often, these pauses become roadblocks. We think we can’t start now, we’re not ready. Inevitably, we get so caught up in planning to take action, that no action is ever taken. We talk ourselves out of the dream we once had. And this is where so many dreams end.
So I’m choosing to listen to the clichés for once and throw caution to wind. I’m going to start now, with very little idea of where I’m going and see where I end up. Because if I can dream it, I can do it. Because bigger fools than me have done it. Because I owe it to myself. And all that clichéd jazz.
So what is it I’m starting? Nothing original I assure you. I’m about to complete my RYT 200 (registered yoga teacher – 200hrs) and I’d like to start teaching classes regularly. The goal of this blog is to provide info and resources to prospective yoga students or any studios that would like to hire me. I’m currently available for private or group classes. I hope to share my yoga journey here and to share some fun stuff along the way!
